Second day of Taroko National park

The second day as the volunteer of Taroko National Park, we keep on organizing the book to the right place and during the rest time we can look at the book in the library, waling around the National Park. To be the volunteer of the national park we not only did the service but also learn something from the national park. We read the book about environment, national park, and some ecology. We finished organize the books in the end of the day, we finished 11 lines of drawer in one day it was very tired that we all slept very early, three days left~

Graduation Ceremony- performance of 'Only'

Before the performance start, we practiced as more as possible but we still made mistakes during the performance. We don't have enough time to practice that we didn't memorize well the lyrics and melody, the volume and range are so weird, it very disappointing me. The performance was a gift to grade 12 I want it to be perfect but it didn't even though my lovely grade 12 said we were awesome but I still sad. But the only thing that was wonderful was most of the people like my song and ask who wrote it, I felt proud of myself. MTMG is the best, we will work harder and to our best next time!     

Band Practice for the second song 'Only'

The boy members in my band are so uncontrollable, we can see the characteristic from the photo that I posted, include this one. The performance of 'Hero' is nicely done and now we need to keep practice on our second song named 'Only'. I wrote the song for my dear grade 12 this year, we are very close and we met for a long time, is hard to say goodbye that i wrote the song for my best grade 12. I wrote all my friends name in the lyrics and all the thing we have gone through together, all the memories. My band said it is so cool that I bring the name in, hahaha, maybe I can be a good song writer. This time we practice for the graduation ceremony, and we got more time for practice so I think maybe the performance can be better this time. For 'Only' I invited my friend  RonRon to sing with us and this time is the first time that we sing together. More girls can control the situation easier that guys will more consider to my opinion and more focus on practice not chatting. 

' HERO' - MTMG

This is the performance of the first song 'Hero'! I think it wasn't too bad for the fresh band like us, we'll keep working on and producing more nice music!

last Band Practice before the Prom

The last practice before the performance was a half a hours before the prom started. It was really in a rush that I went to Taiwanese school as soon as the school finished, the practice as many as possible, this time is the first time I publish the song that i wrote. I don't know how people are going to judge the song and I afraid we will make mistake during the performance. The practice was nice that made me more relaxed, before the performance start we need to make sure all the microphone and voice are in the right range and volume or the performance is going to be a mess. We spent most of the time on adjusting the voice, we tried again and again to get the right volume and range, it was the first experience for me to sing on the stage with my lovely band.Good Luck My Lovely MTMG

Second Band Practice

This was MTMG's second practice, we went to a professional band practice room this time, the room need to make reservation thats why we didn't go last time. We order for one hours only but the graduation prom is coming that we need to deal with the time. Because we are very close friends that we always chat during the practice time, always waste our treasure time, the time is not enough but we still chatting, sometime is hard to control that I'm the only girl in the band and I don't really understand what they are talking about. This time we not only practiced the song hero but also the second song that i wrote for grade 12 named 'Only'. We are very close with grade 12 that they all very happy and excited with the song 'Only'. The time for practice are still not enough, that we need to practice at home, the next time we meet is before the prom start, is kind of nervous now...!

Band Practice

Goals:

• To learn new guitar skills
• To learn how to play as a band (cooperation)
• To performance on graduation party and ceremony 

Learning outcomes:

• ·       Undertaken new challenges- can do the chord that I can not reach before such as B.
• ·       Planned and initiated activities- Plan to practice and prepare for the performance
• ·       Worked collaboratively with others – Play music with the other members in band.
• ·       Shown perseverance and commitment in their activities- meet every practice that we made.
• ·       Developed new skills- new skills of guitar and play music as band.

This  is the first time for band practice, all of the members in my band are Taiwanese, we were classmate when we were in junior high. I have dreamed to have a band for a long time, after graduating from jumior high, i went back to Taiwan and start to play guitar. One year after I came back and we still close, I ask to join the band, our band is called MTMG, there was a long story about the name but i forgot the only letter I know is "G: means Guai (My chinese nickname.). We practice for the peformance for graduation prom. I already show the song that I wrote before, and this time we are going try to play the music together. I solo the song first and they add the after, it wasn't too bad for the first time, we still not sure for some parts but we still get the time to practice, I can stay too long that my house is too far away from the others, it makes some challange for us that we dont have enough time to practice.

First Day as volumteer of Taroko National Park

We need to arrived at Taroko National Park at 8am that and the National Park very far away from downtone that means we need to get up very early and take the car to go. First morning we were invited to join a speech by a diretctor of documentary of National Park and ecology in Taiwan. He shared the experience, challenge and skills about the documentary, the speech was quite long that we watched two documentaries, one is about Yushan (the highest mountain in Taiwan) and the other is about the migrant in Taiwan. It was awesome and lucky that we join the speech and had the conversation with the director. The job for me is to organize the book in library, we need to put the book in the right drawer accroding to number. It was meesy before we organize the book and many books are put in the wrong place, for first day we only finished one line of drawer. Is going to be continue next day. 

Application of volumteer of Taroko Naional Park

Goals:

• To help Taroko National Park set up a new library system.
• To help Taroko National Park organize the books.

• ·       Undertaken new challenges- can classify the books correctly.
• ·       Planned and initiated activities- Plan to help the system done.
• ·       Worked collaboratively with others – work with the other volunteer 
• ·       Shown perseverance and commitment in their activities- go to work everyday until the last day.
• ··       Developed new skills- learn how to classify the books by using library system.

Taroko National Park is one of the famouest National Park in Taiwan and is the only National Park in eastern Taiwan. The geography in eastern Taiwan is full of special valleies, mountains and rivers. Before the summer vacation staredt I applied the volumteer of Taroko National Park in Hualien, Taiwan. After I arrived in Taiwan, I accepted the acceptance from Taroko National Park. My job is to help them organize the library, the library is setting up a new system and they need some people the hlep them with the books, me and my friends got the time from 27th June to 1st July, eight hours a day, five days in tatol.
